CALLING ALL TEENS!

Let your voice be heard– become a member of Jefferson Public Library’s Teen Library Council (TLC)!

WHAT IS TLC?

TLC is made up of teen volunteers who actively promote library services to their peers and participate in creating and implementing teen library programming.

TLC members will advise on current teen trends and interests that could be reflected in teen programming and the Young Adult collection. 

 WHAT DO TLC MEMBERS DO?

 · Plan, organize, and attend programs

· Volunteer at Library events

· Volunteer in the Youth Department

· Help with programs for younger kids

· Recommend materials for the Young Adult collection

TLC REQUIREMENTS

· Must be between the ages of 12-18.

· Attend all monthly meetings and participate in two programs over the course of the year.

· Be friendly and enjoy meeting new people.

· Be willing to participate in discussions.

· Be respectful of others and their opinions.

· Promote the library and library programs.
